We would like to share
that we have organized an Event to distribute several welfare schemes on 10th
November 2012.
The program was presided
by District Collector of Pudukkottai District. Program was conducted in the
presence of MLAs from Alangudi, Viralimalai and Pudukkottai Constitutions. Some
of the highlights of the program are listed below:
- 92 VPRCs had received revised first installment (initially Rs. 2.4 lakhs was received by each VPRC). And 19 VPRC received their first installment. Totally 111 VPRCs received first installment.
- 50 differently abled people with loco motor disability received Tricycles.
- 35 differently abled people with MR/CP/Multiple Disability received Wheel Chairs.
- 9 Visually Challenged Students received CD Players.
- 90 MR/CP children received Teaching and Learning Materials.
- 24 participants received certificates for skill training from NDDB on Dairy Development.
- Representatives from NIPMED has assisted to assess differently abled people to receive aids and appliances.
- More than 500 beneficiaries participated in the program.
